China and the United States Sign a New Energy Bill of $20 Billion Alcoa and China Power Sign an Agreement

In the agreement reached, Alcoa and China Power Investment Corporation signed an aluminum and clean energy cooperation agreement on the same day, with a potential investment of US$7.5 billion; GE and China Huadian reached a joint venture project to sell and install gas turbine generator sets in China. The project revenue is about 500 million US dollars; the Ministry of Energy of China and the United States signed 18 energy cooperation agreements with a total value of more than 13 billion US dollars; Duke Energy, Shenhua Group, American Power, Huaneng Group and more than a dozen American and Chinese companies signed a number of clean Energy cooperation agreement involving high-efficiency buildings, carbon capture, clean coal, electric vehicles, smart grids, etc.; China Guodian and the US UPC signed a wind power agreement involving more than US$1.5 billion.
